2 Sketches 4 You
I've used the fantastic sketches at 2 sketches 4 you several times but never the same week they were released. But now it's soon my mother's birthday so I made this card for her using Laura's Sketch #27:

I wanted to make it personal and she is born during the 1940's, hence the paper and the sticker. The frame behind the sticker is cut from the tags that my late grand-father used in his workshop (he was a shoe-repairer). The text on the frame is therefore the address were my mother grew up. The goose (on the paper) is a symbol of the province she comes from (Scania). She collects butterflies and the one I used is from a broken trinket (it doesn't show very well on the photo but there is a butterfly among the flowers). The lace and the buttons are old. I found them in a box in store room here on my husband's family farm. The buttons are made of paper so maybe they were used during the Second World War when my mother was born.
Finally every mother should have a bunch of flowers on her birthday, shouldn't she?
Awesome job you did on the sketch especially love the story behind your crad it moved me a lot. I think your mother is going to like it very much.
